  • 6 slices Bacon
  • 6 cups Romaine lettuce
  • 2 cups Cherry tomatoes
  • 2 slices Bread (for croutons)

  • 0.5 cups Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh chives (chopped)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat a skillet over medium heat and cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Transfer the cooked bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to cool, then crumble into bite-sized pieces.

While the bacon is cooking, cut the bread slices into small cubes to make croutons. Toss the bread cubes with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and a pinch of salt and black pepper.
