  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 cup alphabet pasta
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons, chopped fresh parsley

Directions

Step 1

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Step 2

Add the chopped onion, diced carrots, and diced celery. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are soft.

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
