Ingredients

  • 250 grams all-purpose flour
  • 200 grams brown sugar
  • 175 grams butter

  • 2 large eggs
  • 150 milliliters molasses
  • 150 milliliters whole milk

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan. Line the bottom with parchment paper for easy release.

In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
