Ingredients

  • 500 grams Ground lamb
  • 250 grams Ground beef
  • 1 medium Red bell pepper
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon Red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 whole Lemon wedges

Directions

Step 1

Chop the red bell pepper, onion, and garlic finely or process them in a food processor until they’re finely minced.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, ground beef, chopped vegetables, red pepper flakes, cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, and parsley.

Step 3

Use your hands to mix all the ingredients until everything is well combined and the mixture becomes slightly sticky.

Step 4

Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions. Shape each portion around a skewer (preferably metal skewers), pressing the mixture to form a long, thin kebab. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes prior to skewering the meat.

Step 5

Brush olive oil on each kebab to prevent sticking during grilling.

Step 6

Preheat a grill to medium-high heat. Once hot, place the kebabs on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are evenly browned and cooked through.

Step 7

Transfer the kebabs to a serving platter, garnish with lemon wedges, and serve hot with pita bread or a side of choice.
