Ingredients

  • 500 grams All-purpose flour
  • 200 milliliters Warm milk
  • 100 milliliters Warm water
  • 50 grams Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 packet Instant yeast
  • 50 milliliters Vegetable oil
  • 50 grams Softened butter
  • 1 piece Egg white
  • 1 piece Egg yolk
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame seeds

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm milk, warm water, sugar, and yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

Step 2

Add the vegetable oil, egg white, and salt to the yeast mixture and mix well.

Step 3

Gradually add the flour, one cup at a time, mixing until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms.

Step 4

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 8-10 minutes, until it is smooth and elastic.

Transfer the dough to a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.

Punch down the dough and divide it into 8 equal portions.
